Tea should do more than just taste good.

Revitea started with a simple problem: I wanted something I could genuinely look forward to drinking every day something that fitted into my lifestyle and felt like it had a purpose.

In my mid-twenties, I was struggling with heartburn, restless nights and low energy. Coffee, which had always been my go-to for getting through busy days, was no longer working for me. Instead of giving me the boost I wanted, it often left me feeling anxious and uncomfortable.

Tea became my alternative.

At first, I was drinking the same standard supermarket tea bags that millions of us have sitting in the cupboard. But as I became more interested in what I was actually drinking, I started researching tea properly.

Matcha was becoming hugely popular for its antioxidant content, but I didn't particularly enjoy the taste. That led me down a rabbit hole.

I discovered an incredible world of loose-leaf teas, herbs and botanicals traditionally enjoyed for everything from relaxation and digestion to energy and everyday wellbeing.

And I started wondering:

Why couldn't tea be created around the moments when we actually need it?

A tea for the morning.

That idea became Revitea.
